i wanna quit smoking and jus do my free running. tommorow morning i am not gonna lite a ciggrette. instead i will go do my free running and leave my ciggrettes and lighter at home. so this way if i crave. no matter witch way i put it i aint gonna smoke becouse im leavin them at home.

Sorry but I disagree. While it’s true that your body wants the Nicotine, the body metabolizes all of the Nicotine in as little as 3 days.
What is left with are the mental-emotional aspects, which is 90% of the smoking addiction.
1. That means that the smoker gets cravings because of stress.
2. And yes, you do get cravings and smoke because of what you are referring to as “instinct,” which is a primal force called a conditioned response. I suggest that you study Dr. Pavlov’s work.
