Im 24 n i’ve been smoking since 18. i recently stoped though, not cuz of the health reasons but cuz a pack of smokes now a days is more expensive than a gallon of gas! I still get the urge from time to time so the trick is ill smoke unlit cigarettes so i fulfil my oral fixation n trick my mind into knowing im still puttin a cigarette to my mouth but they aint lit. sounds funny but try it.

    You say that you …
You say that you are “trying.” Quitting is a decision. Instead of “trying” to quit, make a decision and quit.

If you want to stay comfortable without the cigarettes – get rid of the cravings and tension, then I suggest one of my hypnotherapy programs.

    Sorry but I …
Sorry but I disagree. While it’s true that your body wants the Nicotine, the body metabolizes all of the Nicotine in as little as 3 days.

What is left with are the mental-emotional aspects, which is 90% of the smoking addiction.

    1. That means that the smoker gets cravings because of stress.

    2. And yes, you do get cravings and smoke because of what you are referring to as “instinct,” which is a primal force called a conditioned response. I suggest that you study Dr. Pavlov’s work.
